Dr. R. B. Singandhupe has obtained his M.Sc. ( Agronomy) in 1980 and Ph. D. (Agronomy) in 1987 from Akola( Maharashtra) and Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, India, and a certificate course in 1992 on “On-Farm Water Management” from the University of Arizona, Tucson (USA). He worked as a Scientist with various scientific cadres in different ICAR Research Institutions in India from December 1984-January 2019. He worked in ICAR- AICRP on Water Management from December 1984 to October 2010, then in ICAR-CICR Nagpur till January 2019 and contributed substantially to water management and related issues including the cotton crop. The ICAR, New Delhi adjudged(i) “Vasantrao Naik Award for Research Application in Agriculture” in the year 2001 (ii) Lifetime Achievement Award in the field of Agronomy in the year 2017 by Venus International Research Foundation, Chennai ( TN ) and(iii) Fellow of Indian Society of Agronomy 2015. Three best research paper was awarded by professional research societies.
