Michel Fok

I am holder of a Master degree in agronomy majoring in breeding and of a PhD degree in agricultural economics. I have been working on cotton economics and cotton farming systmes since 1993. I am involved for more than ten years in projects to assess the impacts of biotech varieties in relation with the conditions of their use: Bt cotton in South Africa and in China, herbicide tolerant soybean in Brazil, and more recently Bt cotton in Burkina Faso. He has published papers in French, English, Chinese, Portuguese and Italian.
